FISHING SECTION
The Swansea Yacht & Sub Aqua Club has an active Fishing Section currently comprising about 50 members.
The Fishing Section was launched about 20 years ago and continues to grow with our most experienced members willing to pass on their local knowledge.
The Fishing Section holds regular competitions around the Swansea bay area through the year. These competitions range from one of the country’s leading Cod Competitions which attract about 300 entrants to more local species competitions.
Our anglers are able to launch their boats from our very own slip way into the river Tawie with access to Swansea Bay via the Tawie Barrage Locks.
The Fishing Section hold regular social functions at the Club House though the year, please look out for the events on the Upcoming Events Section on the home page of the website.
The Fishing Section members usually meet at the clubhouse on a Sunday night and we welcome new members, please ask any of the committee members about joining, or alternatively contact the SYSAC office with the button below.
MEMBERSHIP
SYSAC is a friendly club and warmly welcomes new members. If you would like to join, please download the application from here and return it to the club.
We are a members club but visitors will be warmly welcomed into our clubhouse for a drink and a meal.
